Ben & Jerry's Factory Tour

History

November 4th is National Candy Day, so what better way to celebrate the day than highlight a fun and exciting location.  Ben & Jerry’s is an iconic ice cream maker and their various flavors are considered to be delicious, bold and fun.

Located in Stowe, Vermont; the factory is open to visitors throughout the year.  If you can go during Fall, then you can check out the amazing foliage of Vermont while you get your ice cream.

The factory tour is about 30 minutes and it costs about $7 per person.  The tour provides an insight into the factory, history of Ben & Jerry’s, displays, retail area and photo ops.  As it does get busy certain times of the year, it is recommended that you book your tour in advance.

Flavor Graveyard

One of favorite parts of the Ben & Jerry’s Factory tour is the Flavor Graveyard.  Here you can visit the tombstones of all the flavors that have been retired.  You can visit those flavors that were your favorite that are no longer around.

Final Thoughts

Ben & Jerry’s Factory tour is a great stop for any family vacations that are happening in Vermont.  Stowe, Vermont is a great city to visit and there are lots to do, so we recommend driving 15 minutes out of town and checking out this spot.
